Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Intake: Supplement Tracker mobile app (“Intake”, the “app”). By downloading or using Intake, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Not medical advice
Intake is for general education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Supplements may support wellbeing but can interact with medication and health conditions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing any supplement, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have persistent or serious symptoms. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
What Intake is
Intake helps you track the supplements you take, learn what each one does, see how they work together, set reminders, and get educational, evidence-informed guidance. Some features are powered by artificial intelligence. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Eligibility
You must be at least the age of digital consent where you live (at least 13, or older where local law requires) to use Intake. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
Your account
Intake creates an anonymous account for you so the app can work without a sign-up — you don’t need to provide a name, email or password. You are responsible for the device you use and for activity that happens through it.
AI-generated content
The guide chat, stack analysis and label scanning use AI (Google Gemini). AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. It is offered for general education only. You are responsible for how you use it and should verify anything important with a qualified professional before acting on it. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content.
Intake Pro subscriptions
Core tracking, learning and reminders are free. Intake Pro unlocks the app’s AI features — the nutritionist chat, deep stack analysis, unlimited photo label scanning and your full guide history — with generous monthly allowances. Free accounts receive a smaller monthly allowance of these features so you can try them.
- Intake Pro is offered as an annual plan (currently $49.99 per year) or a monthly plan (currently $7.99 per month); the monthly plan includes a 3-day free trial where available. Prices are shown in-app, confirmed at purchase by the App Store or Google Play, and may vary by region and over time.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies, except where a refund is required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
- Attempt to bypass free-tier limits, rate limits or other technical safeguards.
- Abuse, overload, probe or interfere with our backend or the AI features.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
- Scrape, copy or resell the app’s content or the supplement catalog.
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes others’ rights.
Your content and feedback
The supplement data you enter is yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to process it to provide the app’s features (for example, sending your stack to generate an analysis). If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them to improve Intake, without obligation to you.
Intellectual property
Intake, including its software, design, branding and curated content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app in line with these terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Third-party services
Intake relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google (Firebase and Gemini) and RevenueCat. Your use of the app through those platforms is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any content or AI output is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the app or on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Termination
You may stop using Intake at any time and delete your data in the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer of Intake is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
